How to win leads and sales online?

The problem

The biggest problem that businesses face in 2015 is lead generation and the biggest problems that they face online is Traffic and Conversion.

Often, businesses tell us that they either don’t understand online marketing or they don’t have the time to do it.  The fact is, if you are in business, you need to be able to use online marketing, or you will get left behind.  In fact, there are over 1 billion searches a day on Google, over 1 billion people on Facebook, and 277 million people on LinkedIn. YouTube has just hit 1 Trillion views.

In addition, newspapers are closing down daily with advertising plummeting.  Printers are also going through difficult times and Yellow Pages is almost obsolete!

So, the questions are – Is online marketing important for your business?  Is it going to get even more important in the future?  What are you going to do about it?  How can you grow your database, keep in touch with your clients, create leads, and turn those leads into sales?

Your options

There are several options for you to consider:

  1. Do nothing and lose out on sales and get left behind. And to be honest, will your business even survive in the future if you don’t understand how to market yourself online?

LinkedIn: One of the Best Social Media Campaigns

In any business, it is important to be well connected with other businesses whether in the same niche or another through one of the best social media campaigns which is LinkedIn. We all know that LinkedIn is a popular tool that businesses use. Not only is it a social network for professionals, more importantly, it is a place where businesses can generate more leads.

Apparently, LinkedIn is used by many professionals and many find it to be user friendly and very easy to navigate. Whether you are an entrepreneur or someone looking for employment, if you haven’t tried LinkedIn yet, you are definitely missing out.

Generating Leads Using the Best Social Media Campaign in Basingstoke

One of the reasons why LinkedIn is convenient for businesses is because it is extremely conducive for lead generation. You can do this after you create your LinkedIn profile. Creating your profile should be easy as you only need to follow the instructions and fill in the necessary details.

What’s great about LinkedIn is you can brag about your accomplishments without being awkward about it. Besides, having a list of your accomplishments on LinkedIn will make your profile more interesting to others. These accomplishments are also a way for you to build credibility such that when others visit your profile and see how much you’ve accomplished, they will get the feeling that your business is credible.

Filling in as many details as you can on your LinkedIn profile will let other people know you and your business better. It is a way for you to look and feel knowledgeable in your niche, so that in the future, when others will look for your services, they will remember you.

Realising the Full Potential of LinkedIn as one the Best Social Media Campaigns for your Business

When in LinkedIn, it is best to immerse yourself with other professionals. There are discussions that you can join where it is also important that you show your knowledge about your business. If you do not want to join discussions, you will still take away important information that other business people will freely give on different discussions or blogs.

Basically, when you are in LinkedIn, it would be the best place to increase your exposure. Whether you are talking to other business people or clients, LinkedIn is a great place to be. It’s no wonder that it is one of the best social media campaigns in Berkshire and if you want to learn more, the Prudent Marketer is an expert in LinkedIn as well!

Taking your Business Opportunity in Berkshire online

Marketing advisorCreating a Business Opportunity in Berkshire through the Internet

When you want to take your business opportunity in Berkshire further, then perhaps it’s time to extend from your brick and mortar business and promote your business on the internet.

Promoting locally in your community is always a good thing. Perhaps all you need in the offline setup is some creativity when marketing. This can be done through putting up posters, handing out flyers or even decorating your car with your brand!

But then again, with offline marketing, what you will mostly rely on would be referrals within your community. People will be telling their friends and family about their experience with your business. However, there are also a lot of areas that cannot be covered by offline marketing. For instance, if your city is big and you have a lot of competition, it would be hard to establish an identity.

With online marketing, your business opportunity in Berkshire has the potential to grow.

Here are a few ways that you can use the Internet to promote your business opportunity in Berkshire:

  • Create an online identity. In other words, make your presence known. After creating your website, you should also create a blog. Here, you will be able to write anything that you want in your blog including announcements, launchings and establishing your expertise among your target audience.

Of course, don’t forget to create your social profiles as well. This will help you become more visible to others. Some of the social networks that you should be seen on are Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

  • Gather leads online. Design a landing page where you can let your visitors opt-in for emails from you. A good landing page will help you gather leads to warm up to as well as a gift or a freebie to entice them to sign up.

You can use a good email tool such as aWeber to help you send your emails to your list.

When creating your landing page, make sure that you don’t make it sound like you are selling something or blow their brains out with promotion after promotion when they opt-in to be a subscriber. Perhaps you can offer them an informative email or eBook or the latest updates instead.

  • Follow up your leads. The follow-up is a very important part of your marketing efforts to extend your business opportunity in Berkshire through the Internet. Start by warming them up to you first. Treat them like how you treat your friends or family. Avoid sending them emails that will look like you’re selling them something. Also, avoid sending long emails that people would find a hassle or too time consuming to read.

You can expect your business opportunity in Berkshire to get better when you employ the right digital marketing techniques.

If you want to learn more about improving your marketing online, join Steve Mills in his upcoming seminar for Digital and Internet Marketing on the 11th of December 2014. You will learn this and more for your business opportunity in Berkshire.

Changes to Google

Steve Mills Internet marketing advisor

Google is about to change its search algorithms to rate mobile friendly websites higher.  This will commence at the beginning April 2015.  Google will increase the ranking of websites that are mobile-friendly and as a results these sites will be rated much higher.

The Google says that the change will have a “significant impact” on all mobile searches worldwide, but as a result users will find higher quality results.

These changes are great news for mobile users as it should help motivate those websites that still don’t have a mobile site to actually build one.
